Hi! I’m Sarah Harvey, the new owner of Horizons Kids.
For over 20 years, Horizons Kids has been a meaningful part of this community, and that is a reflection of the care, consistency, and love our Founder, Kether, has poured into it. I feel incredibly grateful and excited to carry this on.
I am an educator by background and have spent my career working across education, from Kindergarten through graduate school, in roles that include teaching, coaching, operations, compliance, and school leadership.
More importantly, I am a mom to two awesome girls, one of whom is a Horizons Kids kid, and I also serve as a Girl Scout troop leader for girls in our community. My husband, Tyler, and I are proud to call Inman Park home, and this community is already a meaningful part of our lives. Stepping into this role is deeply personal for me.
Horizons Kids is not just a program I believe in, it is a place my own child experiences every day. My commitment is to preserve what makes this community so special while continuing to thoughtfully grow and strengthen it for all of our families.
As Kether so eloquently put "Huge hugs and high-fives to all the families who’ve trusted us with their awesome kids, and to those just joining the fun, we can’t wait to meet you!"
Shine On, Sarah
where children can learn and explore

Hi! I’m Kether Mayen, a long-time Candler Park resident and the founder of Horizons Kids, a joyful kids program and day camp in the heart of the historic Inman Park neighborhood.
While teaching physics in college lecture halls and leading youth summer programs, I became passionate about creating an enriching kids program in our Candler Park/Inman Park neighborhood cluster—and so, Horizons Kids was born!
For over 20 years, we’ve welcomed local kiddos into our playful, active, creative world. Many of our kids who spent their early years with us are now part of our team, guiding the next generation as they head into college and beyond. It’s truly become One Big Play Date—a vibrant community filled with creativity, heart, and lots of laughter.
Huge hugs and high-fives to all the families who’ve trusted us with their awesome kids—this community has meant everything. I’m so excited to pass the torch to Sarah Harvey, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for what’s ahead. And to those just joining the fun, she can’t wait to meet you!
With cheer and endless gratitude,
Kether
